The world's largest toys eyeball manufacturer, was established in Hong Kong in 1969. Through 30 years of development, the group has now developed its owned business enterprises in China. In 1988, Tak Mei established Well Trade Toys Company Limited which primary manufactures plastic and metal products. In 1979, Tak Mei became the first manufacturer running in plastic toys factory in Tung Chung of Shanwei. In 1992, Tak Mei took over Macor Company of the United States and became the world's most famous toys eyeball manufacturer. With more than 30 years' experience, Tak Mei has built up its own reputation and has earned recognition amongst toy manufacturers around the world.

In 1995, Tak Mei proudly received, from the hands of the Governor of H.K., "the Hong Kong Awards For Industry 1995" which is awarded by the Hong Kong Productivity Council for creative products and technology development, one of the highest achievements of industrialist in H.K. Because of the success and contribution of Tak Mei, Mr. Wong Wai Hung, the Chairman of Tak Mei, has been invited to become the council member of Shenzhen Chamber of Commerce, vice-president of Shenzhen Bao-An Chamber of Commerce, council member of Shenzhen Bao-An Government Business Association, president of Chamber of Commerce of Lung Wah, vice-president of Shanwei district Government Business Association and president of Hong Kong Shanwei District Chamber of Commerce and so on.
